Don't use it before bed. It can cause a lot of issues with sleep. It will keep you up all night. You won't want to calm down and go to bed.

You'll do fine on it. Start at 1-2 mg a day and then you can gradually increase it to 3 or 4 mg if you want but I think 2 mg is plenty.
