I’m 51 years old and very active. A lot of the my friends I work with are also pretty active with tennis, golf, crossfit, weights and cardio. Almost all went on TRT and have really benefited from it. I do not currently have insurance so I want to do self TRT. My stats are 177lbs and 5’9’’. do you think I should hit TRT at 300mgs a week ? And would test cyp be the best option?

for your age start 200mgs/week of trt with some hgh

300mg a week is more like a cycle than TRT, i suggest you start with 120–150mg of test cyp per week to feel good without overdoing it.

bros You should be working with a doctor, they'll get you set up on the best amount.

Blood work will determine the best dosage, everybody's gonna be a little bit different.

If you run too high trt, you can open yourself up for heart issues. You can also strain your kidneys.

Make sure that you are checking your blood work, keep an eye on your blood pressure as well.

Testosterone Cypionate (Test Cyp) and Testosterone Enanthate (Test E) are the most commonly used options for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). The appropriate dosage depends on your testosterone level test results, which should be monitored by your endocrinologist. If you consider self-administration, most users tend to start with lower doses rather than jumping straight into higher doses. A common starting point is 125 mg per week, splitting the dosage into two injections. As you progress, you can gradually increase to 250 mg per week, continuing to split the dosage.

I've seen good results with 30 mg administered as an intramuscular (IM) injection daily, which helps maintain testosterone levels at an optimal peak. Ultimately, the key is to start low and increase to your desired dosage based on your individual response and preference.
